Modern Builds was created in the summer of 2015 with a focus on creating clean, modern furniture designs intended for the beginner DIY'er. Soon after, Mike Montgomery was able to become one of the most popular influencers in the space by maintaining a consistent aesthetic at a prolific pace.
Accessibility is Mike’s focus with Modern Builds, not simply accessibility in designs, but accessibility in materials, information, and projects themselves. He has focused on designing projects that are simple enough that any beginner maker can create, yet interesting enough that any expert might be inspired.
