Wedding Bouquet Photo Charms

Walking down the aisle on your wedding day is one of the biggest moments of our lives. With wedding season is right around the corner, learn how to make these DIY photo charms to help honor loved ones we want to remember on such a big day. These memorial photo charms are easy to make and can not only be used for a wedding bouquet but kept as a jewelry keepsake for many years.

Directions

Photo Printing

  1. Instead of cutting and ruining old photos, you can scan your desired photos for the charm and upload it to your computer.
  2. Then import the photos into a word document to size it correctly. Lastly, print the photos on photo paper.

Photo Charms

  1. Use a circle craft punch to cut out your pictures. If you do not have one, you can trace a coin with a pen and then cut it out. The size will depend on the charm. The ideal sized circle craft punch is about 1.5” in diameter.
  2. Next, glue each photo down onto the center of the pendant. This is especially important if your photos are slightly smaller than the pendant. Gluing the photos to the pendant will ensure they do not shift once you apply the Mod Podge.
  3. Once the glue is dried, fill each pendant with Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. You will likely get some air bubbles. To pop them, use the ST2200T and butane to lightly and quickly, pop each bubble with the flame. Do not allow the flame to linger over the liquid. Allow the charms to dry for about 4 hours.
  4. Tie ribbon around the charms and around your wedding bouquet. These charms also make beautiful gifts. Place them on bracelets, necklaces, or keychains.
