Toasted S'mores Soft Serve

Toasted meringue is the perfect addition to your favorite chilled dessert. Whether the season is warm or cold, this is a guaranteed win for your next ice cream social. Not only is the meringue easy to make but with our torch, it is easy to toast and enjoy.

Steps

  1. Over a double boiler, combine the sugar and egg whites.
  2. Cook until the temperature reaches 160F. Make sure to stir occasionally.
  3. Once the internal temperature is at 160F place into a mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.
  4. Whisk on medium high until the mixture is at room temperature. Store in pastry bags in the refrigerator until needed.
  5. Pipe meringue over s’mores flavored soft serve ice cream (or any preferred flavor). Then torch the meringue until it is toasted to your desired level.Enjoy!
