Stovetop Granola

This stovetop granola can be made over a single burner, yielding crispy granola using household pantry staples.

  1. In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, warm the maple syrup and coconut oil until bubbling, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the oats, nuts, cinnamon, and salt and cook, stirring frequently, until the oats are toasted, about 7 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and allow the granola to cool completely. Add the dried fruit.
  4. Serve on it’s own, with powdered milk, or milk or yogurt if available.
