Malted Pancakes with Maple Praline

Directions

Maple Praline

  1. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and whisk to combine.

Pancakes

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Then in a pan, melt butter and set aside.
  2. Then whisk together the buttermilk and eggs and with a whisk, fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients being careful not to mix too much. Add the melted butter and incorporate. The batter should be lumpy.
  3. To cook the pancakes, use three 6" non stick pans and place them over medium heat. Spray each one with nonstick Pam spray.
  4. Using a 4 oz ladle, ladle in the pancake mix and set over medium heat. Let cook for about 1.5-2 minutes.
  5. Then, using a rubber spatula check the bottom for golden brown color. At this point, small bubbles should be appearing. Flip the pancake and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Finally, remove from pan, pour the maple praline over your pancakes and enjoy!

  • 2 cups Hazelnut butter
  • 1 ¾ cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1Tbsp Salt

Ingredients for Pancakes

  • 1qt. Buttermilk
  • 8ea. Eggs
  • ¼ pound Melted butter
  • 2.5 cup All purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ¼ pound Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Malted milk powder
