French Toast with Brûléed Strawberries



  1. Preheat oil to 325 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl: combine 6 eggs, half and half, sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and whisk.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl: add soften cream cheese, strawberry puree, powdered sugar and whip together and place in a piping bag.
  4. Cut a 3 inch by 4 inch piece of brioche and cut a square out of the side and hollow out the center. Pump ¼ cup strawberry cream cheese into the center and seal with the square of brioche you removed.
  5. Dip into batter until bread soaks up liquid and then roll in bread crumbs.
  6. Then fry on all sides until crispy golden brown. Remove the bread and place on paper towels to drain.
  7. Shingle thin slices of strawberries over French Toast, sprinkle with sugar and finally, brûlée with the BZ4500.
  8. Serve with caramel sauce, maple syrup and enjoy!
