Brûléed Lime Margarita

  1. Cut 2 limes in half and dip in sugar. Then slice two thin lime wheels and cover with a thin layer of sugar.
  2. On a metal surface brûlée the lime until sugar begins to caramelize.
  3. Fill pint glass with ice and add tequila and orange-flavored triple sec liqueur.
  4. Then, juice the limes over the glass. Rub lime around the rim of the glass and dip in salt then add fresh ice.
  5. Shake margarita until outside of shaker is slightly frosted (about 20 seconds).
  6. Finally, strain into a prepared rocks glass and garnish with brûléed lime wheels. Cheers!
