BERNZOMATIC® #ForAllAFlameCanDo CONTEST

“OFFICIAL RULES & USER GENERATED CONTENT RELEASE

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

The #ForAllAFlameCanDo Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Worthington Enterprises, Inc., owner of the Bernzomatic® brand,
200 W. Old Wilson Bridge Rd., Worthington, OH 43085 (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility 

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to enter. Sponsor reserves the right to reject any entry or disqualify any person who violates these Official Rules or tampers with or abuses any aspect of the Contest as solely determined by Sponsor.  All decisions made by Sponsor in connection with the Contest, including without limitation, decisions related to eligibility requirements, are final and binding.

3. Contest Period

Between one (1) and ten (10) winners will be selected each calendar month beginning on June 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2026 (the “Contest Period”).  Each month, entries must be submitted between 12:00 a.m. ET on the first day of each calendar month and 11:59 p.m. ET on the last day of each calendar month during the Contest Period.

4. How to Enter

There are two (2) ways to enter:

  1. Website Entry:
    Visit About Bernzomatic and submit a photo of a completed project created using a Bernzomatic® torch through the Contest entry form and complete the Contest entry form.

  2. Social Media Entry (Instagram & Facebook):
    Post a photo of a completed project created using any Bernzomatic® torch on Instagram or Facebook and include the hashtag #ForAllAFlameCanDo in the caption and tag Bernzomatic’s account: @bernzomatic1876.

Limit one (1) entry per person per month, regardless of method of entry.  All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

5. Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.  Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.

6. Judging Criteria

  • Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity and originality of the project submission

  • Overall quality, craftsmanship, and execution of the project

  • Clear and authentic demonstration of Bernzomatic® product use within the project

  • Quality and clarity of submitted photo/video content

  • Alignment with the spirit of DIY, craftsmanship, or maker culture associated with the  Bernzomatic® brand

Judging will be conducted by a panel of five Sponsor-selected employees selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion (“Panel”).  The Panel will evaluate all entries and select the winners from all eligible entries.  All judging decisions are final.  Please do not contact Sponsor about the status of entries or judging.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

The Panel will select up to ten (10) winners each month unless there are not sufficient qualifying entries. Sponsor reserves the right to select less than ten (10) winners each month based on the quantity and quality of entries received. Potential winners will be notified via the method of entry (via email if a website entry or via direct message if a  social media entry) by 8:00 p.m. ET on the third business day of the following month. Winners must respond within 72 hours to confirm eligibility and provide required details. Except where prohibited, a potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, including proof of age and a liability/publicity release within 14 days.  If a response is not received within these timeframes, the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Prizes

Monthly winners will receive:

One (1) Bernzomatic® TS8000 Torch, 150th Anniversary Edition

One (1) Bernzomatic® T-Shirt

One (1) Bernzomatic® Hat

If a prize is not claimed within 72 hours, it will be forfeited, and Sponsor may or may not, in its sole discretion, select an alternate winner.  Winners are responsible for all applicable local, state and federal taxes and any other costs and expenses not listed herein. Winners may not request cash or a subsequent prize.

9. General Conditions

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend, modify or terminate the Contest to address the impairment; or (b) award the prize(s) from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the operation of the Contest, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive, unethical or unsportsmanlike manner.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.  Proof of sending any communication to Sponsor shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by Sponsor.  In the event of a dispute as to the owner of an online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address or social media account will be deemed to be the owner.  The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.  

By entering the Contest, each entrant warrants and represents the following with respect to their entry: (a) entrant is the sole and exclusive owner of the entirety of the content within the entry; (b) the entry is entrant’s own creation and is 100% original; (c) the entry will not infringe on the rights of any third party; and (d) any third party whose person or property appears in the entry has given entrant written consent (which shall be provided to Sponsor upon request thereof) for such person or property to be photographed, filmed and used as permitted herein.  

10. Release & Limitation of Liability

By entering the Contest, you agree (1) that you have read and are bound by these Official Rules; (2) that you acknowledge and affirm you will at all times comply with all laws and regulations; and (3) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its respective subsidiaries and affiliates and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt, use of or inability to use the prize, including but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors; (c) printing errors; (d) late or undelivered mail, communications, or notice; (e) errors in the administration of the Contest; (f) injury or damage to persons or property, including death; or (g) rights of publicity, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional, whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence and/or fraud), warranty or other theory.  You waive the right to claim any attorneys’ fees and any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.  Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize, winner grants Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use winner’s name and/or likeness without further authorization, compensation, or remuneration of any kind for advertising, promotion, and other publicity purposes.

11. Sponsor’s Use of Entries 

Submitting an entry, photos/videos, and participating in the Contest constitutes entrant’s (a) consent to grant Sponsor, its affiliates and its respective successors, assigns, and licensees, a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, unrestricted and transferable license to use edit, alter, copy, reproduce, modify, disclose, publish, remove, create derivative works from, distribute, exhibit, display or otherwise exploit the entry in whole or in part, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, in any and all media or technology now known or later developed, for any purpose whatsoever including, without limitation, use for any advertising or promotional purposes, without additional compensation or notification to entrant; and (b) release of Sponsor and any entities acting on behalf of Sponsor from any and all claims relating to the use of entrant’s entry.  For complete information on how Sponsor may utilize any information that you provide during the Contest, please review our Privacy Policy at https://thebernzomatic.com/privacy-policy/.

12. Platform Disclaimer

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta.

13. Disputes

You agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Columbus, Ohio .  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Ohio or any other jurisdiction), which would cause application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Ohio.

14. Winners List

To obtain a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by January 31, 2027 to Worthington Enterprises, Inc., 200 W. Old Wilson Bridge Rd., Worthington, OH 43085, ATTN:  Bernzomatic #ForAllAFlameCanDo Contest Legal.
