Jon Peters is a professional artist and craftsman specializing in hand made furniture and custom commissioned artwork. With almost 25 years experience Jon has become a helpful hand for the do-it-yourself weekend warrior, and also a trusted mentor for the serious artist and art student.
Jon attended Ramapo state College where he studied welded steel sculpture and life drawing, while working full time with a furniture designer / builder. He worked with the company for several years and continued to attend classes at Ramapo and Parsons School of design in NYC. In 1994 he started an art and design company and made original art and furniture for clients throughout NYC and New Jersey. In 1999, along with his wife, opened the Laurel Tracey gallery in Red Bank, NJ specializing in contemporary American art.
